Removable partial dentures are fabricated in two ways. The first way is with acrylic and metal framework. This is the traditional way that has been done for decades. The second way is with a flexible nylon material where no metal is used at all. This way has been around for the last 10 years or so. Both options have their pros and cons. For stability and durability, the traditional way works well. For limited teeth replacement and comfort, the flexible option may be preferred.
